Therapy

line-bottom

Effective trauma support brings education, training, and therapy programs directly to the communities, homes and individuals impacted by abuse and trauma.

The Sanare Centre works with the provincial government and the Association of Alberta Sexual Assault Services sexual assault centers to provide trauma survivors with consistent access to standardized therapy, healing and advocacy services.

One-on-One

Survivors of sexual assault and trauma can benefit from this specialized therapy. It builds a trusting and safe relationship where thoughts and feelings are validated. It can empower survivors through achievable personal goals and restore a sense of control. Therapy can speed the recovery process and improve long-term outcomes.
