Media Release – KCA Economic Downturn Survey
KIND COMMUNITIES ALLIANCE (KCA) DEVELOPS SURVEY TO MEASURE ECONOMIC DOWNTURN SERVICE NEEDS IN THE COMMUNITY
The Kind Communities Alliance (KCA) is a collaborative, action focused leadership coalition committed to enhancing our communities’ ability to respond to and prevent family violence and bullying.
With the current economic downturn, KCA is asking those affected what community resources they need now and what they think they will need later on (6-12 months from now).
The anonymous survey is available at www.mhsarc.com. Information provided in this survey is confidential and will be used to guide service delivery, helping to make it easier for people to access these services in the future. Your feedback is important, and we thank you for participating in our survey.
“We know that sexual and domestic violence rates can increase during times of financial and/or emotional stress,” says Corinna Roth-Beacome, KCA Chair. “We want to remind people that help is available. By using these services and resources we can all work together to end violence in our community.”
